As you can imagine, it’s tough to keep up with our inventory, so we are always “on the hunt” for local mushrooms. Many people have suggested we grow our small farm business by enlisting the help of large manufacturers and mushroom farms, but that is not who we are and it’s not the lifestyle we believe in. Therefore, every ounce of our ingredients are always sourced responsibly– being either naturally produced or organically farmed with a pick and preserve attitude. We cherish our local forests and as such, we live by protecting them. Our harvesting practices never leave an area disturbed or destroyed and we are 1000% committed to maintaining this standard. This is why we do all of our harvesting ourselves and by hand. As for our herbs and veggies, if we cannot produce it ourselves at our own Peace of Takilma Native Plant and Flower Farm, then we source directly from our friends and neighbors, who are also locally committed and sustainable organic farmers.
